Lee Edward Carroll Tuesday, February 12, 1946 - Monday, June 12, 2017

Lee Edward Carroll closed his eyes on June 12, 2017, and went home to be with God. After his glorious ascension into our Father’s house, he was greeted by his Mother, father, grandparents, brother, and other relatives who had gone on before him. He was born in Wilmot, AR, February 12,1946, to this union of Doris and Blanche Carroll. He was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Wilmot, AR before joining Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Kansas City, KS. Shotgun, as he was affectionately called by his fellow workers, spent many years as a construction worker before retiring from Kissick Construction Company in 2005; in addition, he was a member of Laborer’s Local Union # 1290 where he proudly received a thirty year union membership pin. Lee Edward was united in marriage to Juanita Sims on December 21,1971, and to this union a daughter was born on May 20,1977. At his sunset, he leaves his wife Juanita, daughter Michelle Carroll, and grandson Mason Talbert all of Kansas City, KS, three sisters, Betty(Clinton) Parker, Cleveland,OH; Henrietta Hardridge, Kansas City, KS; Waletha Robinson, Independence, MO; three brothers, Kenneth Hardridge, Forest Carroll, and Alphonso Carroll, one uncle Will Carroll, Jr., nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends all to mourn his passing.

Those we love don't go away

They walk beside us every day,

Unseen,unheard but always near,Still loved,still missed and very dear.

Mrs. Carroll, Michelle, Mason, May God wrap his arm's around you and protect you and ease your pain during this time of the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. He loved you all very much. Sorry to hear of his passing but he's resting in the arm's of God now. He will always be with you just look around and remember all the good Times. My prayers are with you that God will ease your pain and help you thru one of the most difficult Times in your life. Love and prayers from our family to yours.
